SPIE Photonics West is the world’s leading event for lasers, biomedical optics and biophotonic technologies, quantum and optoelectronics. The event will be held from 27 January to 1 February 2024 in San Francisco, USA.
Eulambia, Optiva Media EPAM and CSEM will be presented orally at “Next-Generation Optical Communication: Components, Sub-Systems, and Systems XIII”, edited by Prof. Dimitris Syvridis.
The abstract: “Perovskite is a low-cost material that has the potential to revolutionise the fields of photovoltaics and lighting in OLAE devices. Its simple and inexpensive processing methods make it attractive for flexible electronics. The PeroCube H2020 project tested the suitability of perovskite for telecommunication applications, in particular for Li-Fi links. Perovskite solar cells/photodiodes were processed on glass/ITO substrates with an open circuit voltage between 0.7 and 1 V. The photodiode devices were integrated into an optical telecommunications system with FPGAs handling the signal processing, LED array and driver electronics. The research aims to advance the application of perovskite in telecommunications and other electronic devices.”
