The 40th European Photovoltaic Solar Energy Conference and Exhibition starts on 18 September in Lisbon, Portugal.
EU PVSEC is the largest international conference for photovoltaic research, technologies and applications and at the same time a photovoltaic industry exhibition where the specialised photovoltaic industry presents technologies, innovations and new concepts in upstream photovoltaics. It brings together the global photovoltaic community to present and discuss the latest developments in photovoltaics, to network and to conduct business. It is a world-renowned scientific and industrial platform focusing on the global photovoltaic industry. The scientific programme of the conference is co-ordinated by the European Commission’s Joint Research Centre.
EU PVSEC’s history of more than 40 years and diverse programme make it a landmark event in the field of photovoltaic science.
VTT will present the results of the European project in the poster “Injection Overmolded Flexible Perovskite Solar Modules”.
The main results presented in the poster are:
the R2R processed, flexible perovskite minimodules withstand the one-sided injection overmolding process well enabling their use for example in wearable electronics.
Also, building on the flexible perovskite technology, a proof-of-concept, flexible hybrid electronics energy harvesting & storage module was developed. The potential of the energy module with a daytime harvesting protocol for example for indoor IoT applications was successfully demonstrated.
