Building upon the results of the PEROCUBE project, research at the University of Oxford (UOXF) has continued to advance the development of high-performance perovskite light-emitting diodes (PeLEDs). Current efforts are specifically focused on scaling device architecture for large emitting areas and enhancing operational stability. To date, we have achieved an external quantum efficiency (EQE) exceeding 22% for red-emitting PeLEDs alongside significantly improved operational lifetimes. Furthermore, we successfully demonstrated a red perovskite display driven by active-matrix thin-film transistor (TFT) panels capable of displaying dynamic patterns. Ongoing research is dedicated to developing high-performance blue and green PeLEDs, with the ultimate objective of integrating all three primary colors into a comprehensive full-color display system.
